My stay at Macedonia Palace from July 11 to 17, 2018 was a delightful experience. The hotel offers recently renovated rooms, featuring a modern, minimal, very relaxing, and homey style. The location is convenient, clean, and situated on the 'paralia' of Thessaloniki, with easy access to museums, theatres, restaurants, bars, and the pleasant seafront promenade.
The hotel offers clean and very comfortable rooms, with a wonderful terrace and lobby, but it is currently under renovation. The service was excellent, with extremely polite staff, although there were some employees in need of shaving. The location is very good, right at the seafront and close to the White Tower, but it needs improvement to meet 5-star standards. The dining experience was exemplary with a wide variety of globally inspired dishes. The facilities provided were great, enhancing the overall stay.
